How to Get to La Leona Waterfall (Finca Curubanda)

Located in the town of Curubandé, near the majestic Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, our adventure center is the perfect starting point for your experience at La Leona Waterfall. We are situated on the main road, just past the second speed bump or across from the local school, making it easy for visitors to find us.

• Restrooms and Shower: Our clean and comfortable facilities include restrooms and changing areas, as well as a shower to refresh yourself before and after your journey.

• Trained Staff: Our team is highly trained to provide you with a unique and unforgettable experience. They will guide you through the adventure, sharing their knowledge of the local flora, fauna, and the region's history.

• Souvenir Shop: In our small souvenir shop, you can purchase authentic Costa Rican memorabilia, including water bottles, Water Shoes, Drybag and La Leona Waterfall t-shirts. Take a piece of this beautiful experience home with you.

 
​Starting Your Adventure:
From our adventure center, we will begin the exciting journey to La Leona Waterfall. We provide 4x4 transportation to Finca Curubandá, where the hike to the waterfall starts.
 
Operating Hours:
We are open every day from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m for you to make reservations or ask any questions. If you don’t have a reservation, don’t worry—you can arrive without one and join the tours that depart every hour.
